I know this has been out for a while and this may be known, but for those stuck on the mission where you have to kill Bone Head and collect the item (forget what it is called) here is what you can do:
In Fyrestone the is a spot where Bone Head's camp touches the Fyrestone wall.
Go to this spot and there are some crates to stand on; stand on them. From here you can see into his camp, attack all enemies freely, have great cover, recover your shield easily and buy ammo nearby.
I hope this helps anyone, just wanted to share.

Or just stand behind the barrier near the exit and the enemies are too stupid to go up and you can take pot shots haha.

or you can just go one lvl above and absolutely own him lol besides, money is sparse when you first start.
why would you waste it all on a boss that you can beat by just following the story?
